Dunno how much better it is than the 30th anniversary edition but listening to it on my ipod classic be rest assured that the album sounds fantastic as it should. Too bad as the mastering is excellent. And this album demands quiet vinyl. The dark side of the moon is a classic and whatever i have to say about it in this review has probably been said millions of times by a number of other writers and fans alike. The most recent vinyl re issue of the dark side of the moon is the 2016 remastered edition on heavyweight 180gr vinyl.

The full record was remastered from the original analogue tapes by james guthrie joel plante and bernie grundman. At first i was delighted to see that this is the gate fold version like the original i purchased all those years ago.
